Bad Santa: 12 Creepy Christmas Clauses

Bringing you the best of the bad Santas, from drunk department store Santas to hobos in Santa suits. Secretly we love the image of a bad Santa. Who can forget the classic image of Dan Ackroyd in the grubby Santa suit, from Trading Places (1983), stuffing a whole smoked salmon inside his jacket. Or the alcoholic thief Billy Bob Thornton played in Bad Santa (2003). There's something undeniably hysterical about the dishevelled look, the black-eye from getting into a parking-lot fight, the blank look of hopelessness and the confused even scared look on the children's faces as being sat on bad Santa's knee scars them for life. There are probably hundreds of such photos out there on the Weird Wide Web, but here are presented 12 of the best.

Top Ten: Christmas Slasher Movies - A festive season sub-genre of the slasher movie genre. And one that in many ways started it all with 1974's Black Christmas.

Santa Theme Park In California - Sat in the mountains of Southern California, Santa's Village was the first ever franchised theme park. Opened in 1955, a month before Disneyland.

After a fight over who slept in the department store dumpster over-night, Santa was back in the grotto by Monday.
"Hurry-up and take the photo! The soup kitchen closes soon."
When Krampus killed old St. Nick, and took his place, no-one seemed to notice despite the dead demonic eyes.
Bad-ass Santa!
"Yeah kid! I lost my eye in a knife fight with an elf."
"It'll be okay Mary-Lou, just keep hugging me and telling yourself... He isn't real... He isn't real..."
Fell out of the bar at dawn, and into the department store next-door.
Uncle "Moonshine" McGee loved coming down from the mountains each Christmas, to be the Santa for town of Hangman Creek.
"Mommy! Santa smells of wee-wee!"
"Mom! Santa said I can't have any presents until you hand over a fifth of Old Crow bourbon."
"Sorry kid! No presents from Santa this year. I blew my stash on cheap booze and even cheaper women!"
A festive frisk, before a Christmas in the drunk tank.

The Dark Side Of European Christmas Traditions - Across Europe there are many dark and creepy figures associated with Christmas, whose folklore origins stem from pagan winter celebrations.

The Best Of The Worst Weird Christmas Movies - Let this be a warning to you. Clicking on this link means you are exposing yourself to some of the worst movies of all time. Happy Christmas!

Take Off That Christmas Jumper, It's Not Ironic You Just Look A Twat! - Tis' the season for usually sane people to blow money on clothing they will only wear once, in order to look like an idiot.

Xmas Games: Festive Freebies & Christmas Cassettes - In the heady days of early home computing, magazines often gave away festive themed cassettes to get us in the holiday spirit.

Weird Toys Not To Be Found Under The Tree This Christmas - Before parents wrapped kids in cotton wool, and heeded recall warnings about dangerous toys. Things were much more fun!

William S. Burroughs: The Junky's Christmas - A dark take of heroin addiction and redemption, in a short story my Burroughs. Later made into a short film produced by Francis Ford Coppola.
