A few days ago, I posted the wonderfully whimsical Dr. Seuss styled rendition of The Call Of Cthulhu, by the artist DrFaustusAU. He has completed another Lovecraft short-story, as a "for Beginner Readers" illustrated book in rhyme. This one is of Lovecraft's first ever short-story he wrote as an adult, in 1917, called The Tomb. It tells the story of Jervas Dudley's obsession with the tomb of the Hyde family, that eventually drives him to madness.
As with his earlier rendition of The Call Of Cthulhu, DrFaustusAU started an alternate version of The Tomb prior to the one presented below. (The cover of which is shown here.) However he seems to have abandoned that version after only a few pages.
If you missed the original The Call Of Cthulhu, check the link, and also see other artwork by DrFaustusAU on his Deviant Art page.
